Carlos Ramon AKA DESEO

Deseo is an independent artist based in Kansas City, Missouri. Having a passion for drawing from a young age, his style is inspired by a diversity of influences ranging from Japanese manga, classic art, pin up, graffiti, the adoration of the female form, and many other artistic styles.
Known for his distinctively sexy digital art, he has been able to share his work with a growing number of fans around the world. In addition to working in the digital art realm, he has contributed to a growing list of art shows in galleries around the country showing his one of a kind acrylic paintings. Learning about animation has given him yet another way to express his ideas, as in the deseoworks intro.

In 2004 he started using silicone in his sculptures, a difficult material to use but one that helps him achieve his goal of true cartoon realism, a line drawing made flesh. He is not looking to create every imperfection and flaw, but to take the exaggerations and perfections of cartoons and make them into a realistic 3D form.
