Mehmet Aksoy

Mehmet Aksoy is a Turkish sculptor. he was born in southern Turkey and studied sculpture in England, Italy and Germany, where he lived and worked for many years. He works primarily in stone but also incorporates other material, fusing metal or differing stones in a single sculpture. He presently resides and works in a studio of his own dramatic design on the outskirts of Istanbul.

The Man Behind The Album Artworks

Introducing Mr. LEMI GHARIOKWU , is the man behind the famous album artwork and poster for the late great , legendary Fela Kuti. He is a self-taught Graphic/Fine Artist, Cover Designer and Illustrator from Nigeria, West Africa who has carved a niche for himself in the field of Album Cover Designing and Illustration.
Lemi designed more than 2000 + and counting album covers with his many difference styles, very bold colors and some of the craziest typefaces. The images inspiration comes from the content of the music may it be politic , love , war or happiness .
Lemi also did work for Bob Marley, E. T. Mensah, Osita Osadebe, Gilles Peterson and Antibalas.
